Where We Came From

History, Mission & Vision

Moving Train Social Club International was founded in 2020 by a group of friends living in Europe — united by friendship, mutual respect, and a commitment to supporting one another.

2020 — Europe

Our History

Moving Train Social Club International was founded in 2020 by a group of friends living in Europe who shared a strong bond of friendship, mutual respect, and commitment to supporting one another.

The idea for the organisation emerged during a period of bereavement involving one of the friends. The experience demonstrated the importance of having a dependable support system during significant moments of life and inspired the group to establish a more structured association.

What began as a Committee of Friends, created to provide financial, emotional, and moral support to members, gradually developed into a permanent social organisation. As its membership and responsibilities grew, the group adopted a formal leadership structure, established membership standards, developed a constitution, and was subsequently registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission of Nigeria as an organised body.

The name "Moving Train" reflects the organisation's philosophy of continuous progress, unity, and collective advancement. Like a train moving toward a common destination, members are expected to remain connected, support one another, and contribute to the progress of the organisation regardless of distance or individual circumstances.

From its modest beginning in 2020, Moving Train Social Club International has grown beyond the country where its journey began into a truly international brotherhood. Today, the Club has members residing in Italy, Germany, the United Kingdom, the United States of America, France, Nigeria, and the Netherlands, reflecting its growing international presence and the strength of a brotherhood that transcends geographical boundaries.
